Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga - with a swift move, i've gone gaga over them.

Hey Ing!
I am sure you know T.S. and L.G. :)

Dear reader, I want you to know that these two giants in the music industry have captured many hearts, hit many radio charts, set new trends, and... well, makes me admire them more and more.

Actually, I am not that super addicted to them but I admit that they influenced me. Their own superb uniqueness made them stand out among the rest. Swift's a natural darling with her guitar while Gaga's a funky weirdo but great in her own way.

Who are these two really?

Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American country artist, singer-songwriter, and actress. The New York Times described Swift as "one of pop's finest songwriters, country’s foremost pragmatist and more in touch with her inner life than most adults".

Lady Gaga (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta; March 28, 1986) is an American recording artist. She began performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side. To date, she has sold over eight million albums and 35 million singles digitally worldwide.

Well, so much for those introductions. What are my favorite Swift and Gaga songs? Do you wanna know?

Taylor Swift's tender Love Story never fails to give me that memorable feeling of recalling something even though I do not know what that thing is it that I recall whenever I hear this song. Maybe, my kindergarten crush? Or maybe, I just admire the Romeo-Juliet theme? Whatever, I just know that I feel entranced whenever I hear Love Story. Imagine, they were still both young when the girl first saw the boy, then her Dad did not approve of their being together but she really loves him, then she felt alone when the boy seemed to vanish, then he just appeared out of nowhere saying that he's now in good terms with her dad and that they can marry and live happily ever after. Great story line, huh? It seems like a blooming childish puppy love but I think sweet romance can also be a description. Truly, it is a sweet Love Story that she created.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's monster hit Poker Face makes my head bob and my larynx (or is it pharynx? whatever, but I know that the other term is voice box)stretch and create tunes. It became very popular because of its dancey-tune, funky beat, and unique singer - Gaga herself. Poker face, who would have thought of making a song with that kind of title? Gosh, I admit that at first, I didn't understand this song but eventually I kind of got the message. What appeals to me is her dance number in the music video! "Can't read my, can't read my, no he can't read my poker face." She is being hard on the guy because of some reason. And then, her outfit and weirdo-ness! Ha-ha. I'm sure more monster hits will hit the charts when her next album comes out.

I admire Taylor's genius song-writing skills. I wonder where she gets her inspiration. She's sooo cool! :) For Gaga, I admire her being different, from outfits, to hairdos, to dance steps - yeah, different. Amazing, isn't it?

I just know that Gaga-ness and Swift-ness won't just vanish in me. They will just be there, ready to make my head bob and bob and bob, my voice to sing and sing and sing, and maybe my body to dance? Ha-ha.

There it goes for my first post. I'm signing out, pipol. :)

I couldn't just avoid the Gaga-ness and Swift-ness of the current music stream.

as for TS, she's just plain awesome.
i like "i'd lie" or or "untouchable" or "fearless", which was the first TS song i learned to play on the guitar :D the chords are pretty simple too, so i can sing and play my heart out whenever i want to x]
